Dr. Cindy Mercer is a Georgia native, being born in Macon, and raised in Gray.  Her husband, William, is also a product of the Peach state, calling Marietta his birthplace and subsequently being raised in Quitman. They met in Macon on the campus of Mercer University while Cindy was in medical school and William was working on a master’s degree in business. The future Mrs. Mercer went on to complete her OB/GYN residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, and William his law degree from Florida Coastal Law School in Jacksonville, Florida. They are happily married and excited to be living and working in here in Blairsville.

Dr. Mercer’s practice encompasses all aspects of obstetric and gynecological care, including preventative care, urogynocology, infertility, and high risk obstetrics.  She operates and delivers at the comfortable, friendly Birthing Center Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
